Do rituals actually have any effect on an individual?
Yes. Every action has a reaction. When a young man receives his degree, which of the two situations would create an impact upon his mind: when an office clerk hands him the degree in the college office, or when he receives it from the Vice-chancellor at the University convocation? Rituals are formal ceremonies that create an impact on an individual and the family.
