God : ‘All in One’ or ‘One in All’
Some pray to Shiva, some to Vishnu, or Ram, or Krishna. Some pray to Durga. Do all prayers ensure similar benefits?
When we pray, we surrender ourselves to a force that is more powerful and superior. When we pray before an idol, we are really praying before the ideal that symbolises in our mind. All idols are symbolic of the supreme Spirit. The benefits that accrues from prayer is not because of our presence before the idol. The benefit is in proportion to the faith and devotion we have for God in whatever form we may perceive Him.
