i m sorry to say that there is no time or day from march 13th to April 14th 2008. If you are unable to avoid this date then you may do one thing….go for gandharv vivah or symbolic marriage on 10th March (Ratri Lagna Tula or Makar) / 11th of march before 9/47AM. Thereafter you can have a full party & other functions on 13th.

But some people do not mind to marry during this period provided other conditions are favourable.
There is so many dates in JULY, AUG & on 30th Sept for you both.

Your pundit is right, Kark & Libra people can’t marry in Kartik Maas. But last 10 days of November 2008 is free from Kartik Maas Dosh.
21,22,23,24,29,30 of Nov 2008 are some auspicious dates, which you may consider.
Don’t forget to offer SURYA PUJA and GURU PUJA during marriage ceremony.
Baijanath Dham (Jharkhand), one of 12 Jyotirlinga, is a place to get married without any compatiability and suitable muhurthas, where marriage never fails. I believe so, you may believe only after going there.

in my view (after consulting panchang) there is no muhurtha in Dec 2008 for you couple.
1, 2, 4(till 17:55) of Nov 2008 is auspicious for you and may taken for shaadi lagna.
If your punditji is considering subh lagna in Dec b’cose of Rahul’s “Naam Raashi” than i don’t see any problem by following the same but the date should be 2nd Dec and the lagna time is 13:19hrs to 14:43 hrs. (Delhi Region).

July 11is the last muhurtha for mundan sanskar in 2008.
But some people do not mind to do it during NAVARATRA or in any time at SHAKTI Peeth of Devi , Haridwar, Kashi, Tirupati etc.
Mundan Sanskar must be perform at the age of 1,3,5 and so on..
DevShayan, Dakshinayan of Surya period prohibits any Hindu Sanskar.

thank u so much for ur great help….in continuationto my above question i need some more enlightenment. the girl’s family showed the horoscope to their local astrologer who very assertively said the marriage can not be gone ahead with with only 18.5 points out of 36…and bhakoot as well as gana dosh present…my humble query is as follows…..
under which cases can bhakoot and gana dosha be ignored ??? the ruling planet of rashi in the girl’s cases as well as mine is MARS…her rashi being vishchik and mine being mesh…? can bhakoot or gana dosh or both be ignored if the ruling planet of Rashi is same and graha maitri score is 5 / 5 …please enlighten ……thank u so much guru ji
