43. Bakreswar Devi’s mind or the centre of the brows fell here and the idols are Devi as Mahishamardini (the slayer of Mahishasur or Durga) and Shiva as Bakranath. Near Ahmedpur station. There are seven hot springs and also the Paphara (remover of sins) river. The Mahamuni Ashtabakra found enlightenment here. On Shivaratri (night) there is a grand Mela (fete) here.
44. Jessore Devi’s centre of the hands fell here and the idols are Jashoreswari and Shiva as Chanda (Moon or the one who holds the moon).
45. Nandipur Devi’s necklace fell here and the idols are Devi as Nandini and Shiva as Nandikishore.
46. Varanasi (Benaras) Devi’s earrings (Kundal) fell here and the idols are Devi as VishwaLakschmi (The provider of wealth to all) and Shiva as Kala (Time or the end of time). Famous pilgrimage in UP and one of the oldest cities in the world. The Puranas say that this city exists even after the Pralaya.
47. Kanashram or Kalikashram Devi’s back fell here and the idols are Devi as Sharvani and Shiva as Nimisha.
48. Lanka Her feet bells (Nupur) fell here and the idols are Devi as Indrakschi and Shiva as Rakchaseswara. Indrakschi was created and worshipped by Indra in person.
49. Virat Devi’s small toes of the feet fell here and idols are Devi as Ambika and Shiva as Amrita (nectar of immortality).
50. Bivasa Devi’s left ankle fell here and the idols are Devi as Bhimarupa and Shiva as Sarvananda.
51. Trisnota Devi’s left feet fell here and the idols are Devi as Vramari (Bumblebee) and Shiva as Iswar (God). On the banks of Tista river in Shalbari village in Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal

Osiya (osiyan)Mata Temple is located in Osian,an ancient town,65 kms North of Dist HQ Jodhpur, on a diversion off the main Jodhpur-Bikaner Highway.
Sachiya Mata, the mother goddess is worshiped as Kuldevi,by oswal, jains and others caste living in Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Panchsagar Shaktipeeth is situated at Chandrapur (Chhatisgarh) over bank of Mahanadi Five river/nalas joins as sangam (Panchsagar) 1 Mahanadi River, 2 Mand Nadi River, 3 Katang Nala, 4 Lath Nala, 5 Kelo nadi river. Lower Teeth in shape of Varah Mukh is original shape of portrate of Maa Varah rupi, Maharudra (Shiv) is also situated near to main mandir, hence all places described in shakti peeth is situated at Chandrapur it is why it is yet to be announced as Shakti Peeth.

In West-Bengal , Birbhum district , every one should visit Mandir of Ma Nalateswaeri at Nalhat . Thr person visiting Tarapith , should go to see Ma . It is one of the 51 pithas . By auto rickshaw or any car from Tarapith or directly from Nalhati railway station . One could go to Ma Nalateswari and turned back to Tarapith by spending only 3 hous time . Mandir is opened for whole day . Lord Shiva (Yogesh) appeared there.
I personally request every one to visit Ma Mandir to see Ma Nalateswari .

Sir, we have three shakti peeth in Uttrakhand. One is ‘Kunjapuri’ (near Rishikesh), second ‘Chandrabadani’ (near Dev Prayag) and third ‘Surkunda’ near Musoorie. But you did not mentioned any of them. I have visited all three places, situted at the peacks of the hills. These temple have great values of faith.

Doesn’t it seem odd that so many Sakti Piths are in Bengal? I see you’re using
B.B. Lal’s list and for some reason he says most Pithas are to be found in one area of India.
Almost nothing in the South. I’m working on several lists and all their spelling variants.
I’m very confused. . .My main interest is accurately locating them all.
anyone know exactly where YONI is in Pakistan ?

Information is very good. But many of the Devi’s Peeths are not mentioned in this site. But over all I enjoyed to read because I was think that of Shakti Peeths but today I know about Peeths by this site. Thanks and Good Luck for the future.
